About Our Practice

Evergreen Wellness & Therapy was created as a calm, grounded space for people to slow down and make sense of what they're carrying. The practice is shaped by the belief that healing happens when people feel understood in the context of their lives: their histories, relationships, cultures, and the environments they've moved through.

The olive tree sits at the centre of Evergreen’s identity. Olive trees grow slowly, develop deep roots, and continue to survive and regenerate even after long periods of stress. This reflects how many people adapt over time, carrying stories shaped by trauma and responsibility across generations, while continuing to find ways to endure.

Therapy here is thoughtful and paced. The work begins with safety and understanding; exploring how experiences, culture, values, and identity have shaped the ways you cope, relate, and protect yourself. Rather than pathologising these patterns, therapy honours their role and works with them gently, recognising them as meaningful responses to what you’ve lived through.

Evergreen also takes a holistic view of wellbeing. Psychological health does not exist in isolation from the body, and emotional distress is often closely connected to physical health, stress, sleep, hormones, chronic illness, and nervous system functioning. Where helpful, therapy is approached in collaboration with your GP or other treating health professionals, with the aim of supporting your overall wellbeing in a coordinated and respectful way.

Evergreen is a space where your story does not need to be simplified or separated from your background to make sense. You are not asked to leave parts of yourself at the door. Therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for your lived experience -supporting change that feels steady, integrated, and sustainable over time.
